About Us - Philippine Pediatric Dental Society Inc. (PPDSI)

The Philippine Pediatric Dental Society, Inc. (PPDSI) had its beginnings as a collaborative undertaking of a team of general dentists and Pediatric Dentistry specialists whose goal is in the advancement of quality pediatric dentistry as it serves the Filipino people. It is a non-stock non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and is recognized as the pediatric dentistry group affiliate of the Philippine Dental Association.

Through the years, the PPDSI was able to establish affiliations with different national and international professional organizations – it is a founding member society of the Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia (PDAA) and a member society of the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD).

In January 2011, it has been granted accreditation by the Board of Dentistry of the Philippine Regulation Commission as the specialty group in the field of pediatric dentistry in the country. The PPDSI is nationally identified as the leader in the oral health care of children and adolescents and the mentally, physically and emotionally-challenged patients. The Society's major thrusts are SERVICE, TRAINING and RESEARCH.
